Harsh Thakker is a young and dynamic entrepreneur who co-founded Dorado Capital in 2019 along with Malhar Shukla and serves as a principal and main operator across Dorado Capital’s entire portfolio of projects. His expertise lies in the early identification of profitable investment opportunities and is compounded by his deep understanding of capital markets, and macro and microeconomic factors that can affect real estate investments. His conservative outlook and thorough analysis, along with financial modelling skills, allow Dorado Capital to consistently and successfully navigate the market and fully maximize exit opportunities. His strong work ethic, creative approach to deal structuring, and commitment to transparency ensure Dorado remains a responsible steward of capital and a dependable fiduciary.
Birju Bhagat
Principal
Birju Bhagat is an experienced entrepreneur with a diverse background in the real estate and hospitality industry, possessing operational experience in managing branded hotels and franchised restaurants. He has a deep understanding of operational strategies and optimization, including the management of labor, input costs, and general revenue management. His past real estate experience includes investments in mobile home parks, other income-producing residential properties, and ground-up construction of single-family for-sale residential homes. Birju’s operational expertise and past success with the development and disposition of assets round out Dorado Capital’s executive capabilities.
Vikram Dhruva is a seasoned structural engineer and MBA, boasting an illustrious career spanning over two decades in engineering and management. His journey includes a pivotal twenty years role at Dassault Systems, where he honed his expertise in partner recruitment, and North American and LATAM enterprise software sales. He is also a partner at VIAS3D, a leading engineering PLM software and service provider with operations spanning the USA, Canada, Mexico, and India. Leveraging his extensive experience and insights, Vikram brings a treasure trove of business development and marketing prowess to the table. His extensive banking and financial relationships have played a pivotal role in driving success across various ventures. Furthermore, Vikram boasts a diverse portfolio, including substantial experience in real estate investments.
Vedant Shukla
Principal
Vedant Shukla possesses over two years of experience working in the Asset Management industry and holds a BSBA degree in Finance and Business Analytics from the LeBow College of Business. Prior to joining Dorado Capital, Vedant worked as a Portfolio Finance Analyst at FS Investments, a global asset management firm with over $76 billion in assets. While in college, he served as an Equity Research Analyst for The Dragon Fund, managing a mid-cap equity portfolio exceeding $3.7 million in Assets Under Management (AUM). His experience spans leveraged finance, capital markets, lender communications, asset-based lending, revolving lines of credit, and comprehensive understanding of fixed income, alternative investments, risk management, and the private credit space.
